One thing that I've learned over the past 2 months is that you need to do things in your life for YOURSELF. You need to do things that selfishly make you HAPPY. You need to have happy and brilliant moments that make you smile, even if it's just temporarily.

That being said, there is one thing in my life that will always make me happy, no matter what I've experienced in my life. What could that be??? CHEESE FRIES. Seriously, is there anything better? They always make everyone happy and they never disappoint.

I MUST BREAK YOU

Isn't it weird that Americans base all of their stereotypes about Russians based on the movie, "Rocky IV?" I mean, seriously, it's quoted all the time at work, amongst friends, in TV shows such as "Family Guy" and so on and so forth. There are actually T-shirts that say, "If He Dies, He Dies."

I was thinking about this when I woke up this morning and saw my neighborhood coated in multiple feet of snow. I just couldn't stop thinking about when Rocky went to Siberia and it looked so similar. You also had to love the 80's haircuts in the movie as well, especially from Brigette Nielsen. (Who Played Drago's Wife. Ironcially she was Stallone's Wife at the time)

Also, I have Russian students that talk the same way Ivan Drago does in Rocky IV. Most of My Russian Students have the most high-tech phone and stereo equipment too, as well as top of the line clothes and cars. That was the case when Rocky trained in the movie in contrast to Drago.

Tell me there isn't a month that goes by in which you hear one of the following quotes from Rocky IV:

1) If He Dies, He Dies

2) I Must Break You

3) Till The End

4) He Is Not Human, He Is Like A Piece Of Iron.

5) This Was Supposed To Be An Exhibition

6) If I Can Change, You Can Change, Everybody Can Change

7) Hit The One In The Middle

Just thought I'd put that out there.

BREAKFAST

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day......

We already know how AMAZING Wawa is. They now have a BREAKFAST HOAGIE. You can order a 12 inch hoagie with Bacon, Scrambled Egg and Cheese. This is amazing. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm sure it's amazing. There are 925 calories in this sandwich.

You could also order a Philly Cheesesteak Breakfast Hoagie. Mmmmmm

Bacon does make everything better.
I think since my parents kept Kosher as a kid, I was denied the opportunity to eat Bacon for a few years. Then, one special night when my family went to TGI Fridays, I ordered a Turkey Club. It changed my family. Now, I feel like I need to eat EXTRA bacon to make up for the time I lost. Bacon makes everything better. I've had everything from Bacon Cheesecake to Bacon Vodka.

By, the way, yes, I'm BACK!! Sorry for the long pause in not writing on my blog. I promise that I'm back. In the meantime, I was at the Catalina Wine Mixer. It finally ended....
